Hood Emblem - 03/2007

The hood emblem was mildly pitted, spider-webbing in the chrome, and missing the background paint.

Once again eBay is great for finding parts... $12 for the emblem.  Took a risk because the listing photo was small and fuzzy.

 

This after I polished and then painted the bowtie orange.

All done... painted the ribbed field gloss black and mounted on the hood.

 

I am not sure about the originality of this paint scheme.  But it turned out nice.
